What a piece of work from the man who warned us about death panels in the health care bill. His grasp of the facts don't seem to be much better when it comes to USCIS' enforcement of H-1B rules. If you call USCIS 1800 number, and you ask the representative to raise a service request then they email the service center asking for details. Most of the time, personnel from service center will call back with the information that you have requested. If you learn there is a way you can email the service center, please post here.

Hi,
I am currently building a application in silverlight 3 where i do a search for a you tube video and it returns me with a set of videos. I then play the video by embedding the flash player with a HTML-Placeholder in silverlight 3.
Problem:
I want to determine the end of the flash file and call a c# function (which will play the next video). I don't know how to archive this.
Any Help with this is greatly appreciated.

As everybody knows by now, recently Arizona's Governor signed a law requiring local law enforcement officials to take into custody persons when they have a "reasonable suspicion" that they are present in the U.S. illegally. On March 19, 2010, the USCIS announced revised filing instructions and addresses for applicants filing an I-131, the Application for Travel Document.
Beginning March 19, 2010 applicants will have to file their applications at the USCIS Vermont Service Center or at one of the USCIS Lockbox facilities.
If you file the I-131 at the wrong location, the USCIS Service Centers will forward it to the USCIS Lockbox facilities for 30 days, until Monday, April 19, 2010. After April 19, 2010, incorrectly filed applications will be returned to the applicant, with a note to send the application to the correct location.

Hello
i got CPO emails for spouse and self today, I am PD April 06 EB2
I had filed my prior applicaiton in EB3 with 485, Later i joined new firmB around august 2007 timeframe. and they started off again using old PD and ported to EB2, which was granted,
my new company filed for my 485 again as they thought it was right around when i moved and could raise RFE
I got an email today my CPO ordered, using 485# of prior filing
what should i do, tell USCIS or talk to lawyers, i dont want this to cause a denial
( I never used EAD or so, always on H1)

You should pay taxes in PA.
In case your employer is running the payroll from MI, then file MI taxes as Non resident and PA as resident. You will get credit for paying non resident taxes in MI on PA's state tax form.
Don't pay resident taxes in the state where you are not staying. I got this info from a HR block tax consultant..

E. APPLICABILITY OF INA SECTION 202(a)(5)(A)AS IT RELATES TO THE ALLOCATION OF “OTHERWISE UNUSED” NUMBERS
INA Section 202(a)(5)(A), added by the American Competitiveness in the 21st Century Act (AC21), provides that if total demand will be insufficient to use all available numbers in a particular Employment preference category in a calendar quarter then the otherwise unused numbers may be made available without regard to the annual per-country limits. This provision helps to assure that all available Employment preference numbers may be used. In recent years, the application of Section 202(a)(5)(A) has occasionally allowed oversubscribed countries such as China-mainland born and India to utilize large quantities of Employment First and Second preference numbers that would have otherwise gone unused.
If spill over has to happen every quarter as per the detail in above statement, why USCIS is not doing quarterly spill over, it looks like they are still doing annual spill over in to EB2 I and C. My question is am I interpreting the law correctly.Thanks for your help.

To all those who have received the FP notices,are your I-485 dates current for Processing ? or you have received these notices after the lapsing of the earlier FP ??
I have done one FP initially when my Case was filed.Its been long since the validity of that FP has lapsed. Should i be expecting another FP notice??
Is fresh FP notice being sent to all those whose FP validity has expired? or are they doing that in a random manner ??

I had applied for GC through my husband s employer for EB1 category. Recently USCIS websites has updated on its site regarding our case that I485 has been approved but I765 has been denied. Currently we are on L1/L2 visa. Has anyone faced such a situation? And what does this signify?
Can anyone pls shed light on this.
